Why AICE Media Studies?

 I chose to join AICE Media Studies because I think the film industry is very interesting. Growing up I would make movie trailers with my family and friends, I loved taking pictures and being in front of the camera. Now that I've gotten older, I think it will be very interesting to learn about the film through a different lens and understand all the different aspects. Whether as a creater or viewer, our generation has somewhat developed with the media. It now has become the center for how our society functions. The media has the power to influence our thoughts, emotions, and perspectives on life. It is because of this that makes me very excited to dive further into this field of study and have my knowledge and appreciation for the media grow.
